Phonics and reading

The school uses Twinkl as our phonics scheme and our reading books support the teaching of phonics.

We do not rigidly keep to a scheme as we believe the children should have a wide breadth of books to choose from and which support the teaching of phonics, including Twinkl-published books.

We use the White Rose scheme to teach maths.
